  1. Something the same length as ButterflySims 046 so it doesn’t clip with the armor. BTW your work isnt going unappreciated your adding new life to a great game and i love it!!! ;)

  2. Is there anything for Mass Effect 2? I recently got the deluxe edition of ME2 on sale and would like to get some new hairs for the game.

  3. Hello!
Jacob’s outfit for Mshep in ME3. Has anyone done that? I cant seem to make it work, cause I’m a total noob at modding. Got the mesh right, but not the textures.

  4. does anyone know of a good replacement mod for femshep’s fugly dress in ME3? I found a couple in nexus but one of them was a hideous sparkly recolor and the other was a longsleeved dress.

  5. Hello! Thanks for the tutorials they have been of great help. Still i have some issues

So, i been modeling this new body for femshep to get custom armors, but everytime i save it and import it to ME3 Explorer the mesh doesn’t appear, in fact it says that there are 0 triangles. I did the same steps but with an original body (liara´s armor 1, i downloaded the psk, imported it to max, resave it and imported back into ME3 Exp.) and it works fine.
So i guess im missing something cause i cant seem to import custom meshes. Im using 3dmax 2013 with actor X exporter 2013. Maybe you may know why im having this problem? I tried importing it to ME3 Explorer as a psk and upk, but still none worked. The mesh just wont appear, its like i cant save custom meshes in psk. The thing is that when i import the custom psk into max again the model appears just fine.

  6. Hi, could you tell me what page to use to install mods mass effect 1 2 and 3 because I can not do with Nexus. I’m new at this and I played before on consoles but now I’m with pc for the first time and I feel a little lost.

    • @blackgitana, even though nexus has mods for mass effect, nmm does not support mass effect, so all mods need to be installed manually, using either texmod for temp mods that only work through texmod and do not change the game files, second way is using me3explorer which safer than manually changing games files. last resort is manually changing game files hoping the mod is good and has no side effects or origin does not picks up changes it does not like, I always run origin offline
I try mods using texmod first (mods.tpl) if am happy all works as expected then use me3xplorer which will change game files (which is permanent) and can screw up your game, any updates or checks by origin can pick up changes and stop game from running until you re install game. I use nmm mods that require no real input from me, so like you i am learning how to use the above tools

  7. hi guys, this is a great site, me3explorer insists on v8ub format for norm texture, my paint.net can not save as v8u8, how do you guys get around this ? I can use add bigger for diff files but I get error saying its not v8u8 for norm files

  8. need some help guys, am new to me3explorer but seems like a great program, I use tpf mod files to mod the game, all is good with diff files but norm files must be v8u8 format, paint.net can not save as v8u8 :( and I can not find a dds converter to v8u8, how do you guys get around this

  9. Hi.
I’m new to modding in ME, a little scared to do something wrong but I have made all kinds of backup so I guess I don’t really have anything to worry about. I’m pretty used to modding Skyrim to what I have discovered is an extremely easy game to mod.

I have a question though. I decided that a simple hair mod would be a good start for me. I can’t remember where but I read somewhere here how you explained how to change hair color for one of your hair mods but now I’ve forgotten how.

I chose your Toyger hair mod.

    Thanks, your mods are fantastic!

  10. Okay, so I absolutely love your mods. They’re beautiful! I have my eye on about five that I want right now. Lol But, I’m not sure if your mods can be used on Xbox or just PC. Please let me know. Also, I’ve been having issues getting my Gibbed program to open. Just says there’s an error and shuts off. :/

  11. I’ve just come back to ME3 and I’m trying to use mods to revamp it a bit – I’ve successfully used the cropped tank, as well as a facial texture mod or two, but cannot for the life of me get a hair mod to work. The mesh shows up fine but the .tpf is not applying no matter what I do. Origin overlay is disabled, I’ve turned off NvidiaExperience and Shadowplay, I’ve followed all instructions and searched online in vain – it’s driving me crazy!

    Any suggestions…?

    • Edit: I’ve got it to work a couple of times – I think. The textures were very dark, the hair is almost black even though it is dark brown – is this right? Mostly it still goes wrong though, and when it does none of the textures work, so I haven’t been able to figure out what I am doing wrong (or right) yet!

      • Ok, I worked this out now. I read that something somewhere has been updated which causes textures to not be loaded like they were (something like that). But whatever the cause, I just went in and edited the hair colour in gibbed (made it a lot lighter) and now Shep has brown hair again, as I intended :)

Still no specularity, but no hair mods I’ve seen have that. Shame…

  12. Where do you get the head morphs for the male sheps a lot of the ones listed in the best looking article arent active anymore bioware shut down those threads

  13. Do you know if it’s possible to make/port hair mods for the Mass Effect remasters? Will you make your hair mods compatible with it if it is? I honestly can’t see myself playing ME3 without a hair mod and yours are the best I’ve found so I’m actually holding out on buying it because of that.

    • I’ve given permission to modders to port my hair mods over to Mass Effect LE. I believe there is an effort underway to do so, but I’m not involved :)
