I started this gaming blog in 2011 (crazy!!!) when I was just a 20-something girl obsessed with video games. At that time, I had all the time in the world to play them … and mod them! Now, I’m a 30-something girl with two little babies so I don’t have the same kind of time for gaming as I used to. But, I’ll still post whenever I can and keep this site up so people can continue to download my mods.

I just would like to say that this is the most helpful place I have every seen for Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. Ever since they fixed the missle launcher glitch I have beed stuck on Geth/Gold/White 20-40 mins at a time.

I play everyday and I like working with team players but I can lonewolf if I have too.
Im currently kicking arse with the Volus adept, a very awesome character that I feel is widely misused or deemed as worthless (or so I have read in many forums). They annoy me because apparently volus cant make a lot of points, but I have been top of the board with him numerous times now on silver, not so sure about gold. I was hoping we could work out a character build for the volus adept? I could share my current build and reasons.

If you have room im always up for playing a more team orientated game of ME3. Most of my friends have gone off to other games, but I still love me3 and I prefer games with as little lonewolfing as possible.

Thanks! I will (eventually) get around to posting an update to the best weapons and map tactics … there have been a lot of recent changes to incorporate, so bear with me :) Meanwhile, if you go to the google docs under “Mass Effect 3 Resources” for the Weapon Stats, you can see all the raw weapon damage data and DPS that Cyonan put up.

I don’t think there really is a best gun, but then again I’m a hardcore fps/shooter person, so any gun will work. Getting the headshot medals in the opening match over everyone else and you tend to find any gun is the best.
I know what you mean, I have played so many fps now that I automaticly aim for the head or nearest weak point.
Loving the new weapon mods at the moment, both piercing mods on the typhoon is just awesome.

Character help for Mass Effect 3. I am new to the game so I was wondering if you could explain what the difference between the multiplayer builds and what you play through on the storyline part of the game?

I recently got back into playing ME3 multiplayer again with my wife. We mostly play silver and gold on xbox. I was begining to think my wife was the only woman on multiplayer (but then who knows who is playing and not mic’d up). I will forward her this!

Awesome blog! I am a girl (casual) gamer and love mass effect. I write a neuroscience blog, and occasionally write about the benefits of video games. I play ME multiplayer, but not enough to have ‘xbox friends’ and I don’t usually play mic’d up. anyway, just wanted to say thanks for writing this blog. Just wanted to say I love your blog. Even though I play a significant number of games and have heavily invested in the hobby, with time being so scarce for me these days and with all the other titles I play, it was just hard for me to get anywhere in ME3 MP in terms of a good build. The info you gather and they way you compile it in a nice, concise manner is just awesome. Even if I don’t always end up using your exact builds, you put out a good enough template with numbers that make it easier to customize for my own for my play styles. I freakin’ love it.
Too bad you’re on a different platform. Ahh well…
Great blog! Probably the most well-written one I have found thus far, thank you for taking the time! I have been Turian Ghosting with your build for the last two days and it’s absolutely awesome, I actually don’t enjoy playing it on silver because everything dies so fast. Have you tried GJ/Spitfire/no hex shield as a build? I have been killing it in PUGs on Gold for the last few days.
No, I haven’t tried no Hex Shield, but I think I might do that because the Hex Shield seems to get in my way more often that it helps :)
As I slowly level up the Spitfire this build is getting more and more effective. I swapped everything out for max survivability (still no shield) and its better. Also finding it generates a ton of aggro if you are peppering everything in sight. Surprisingly, I am tanking, objectiving, and still chart-topping Gold games (in PUGs with not amazing people). Only downfall is your hands get tired from holding down the trigger constantly. Invite me if you ever need someone to tag along, ZZGooch on xbox.
Just gotta say, I’ve found your blog a great source of info for ME3 MP. I especially love your constant emphasis on DPS and using damage buffs (like proximity mine, recon mine, tactical scan, etc.). I try to convince people I play with that stuff like that makes the difference when trying to be a gold/platinum killing machine. Anyways…long time lurker on your blog, just wanted to voice my appreciation. keep an eye out for me on Xbox, my gamertag is: LetsCalmlyRiot and I’m always down for some ME3.

( I warn you, I have been gone for a long time, I have only been back in the game for about a month. Still have to sharpen some skills and still learning the new classes, but I’m game. :)

Nice site, some really helpful ME3 info on here, i’m also a big fan of Dragon Age (the first one obviously). Great job making such an awesome website. I’d like to recommend an Xbox 360 game to you called ‘Shadowrun 2007’. Its an online 8v8 multiplayer arena FPS that’s unique in it combines the shooter genre with RPG elements such 4 playable races (each with their own abilities and specialties), the ability to teleport through walls, fly, resurrect dead teammates and loads more cool stuff lol :P Its pretty old but is my favorite game of all time so.. I think you’d like it and i’d be forever in your debt if you wrote a review or something and raised awareness of it, theres a free demo on XBL or it’s like £5 on ebay if you’re interested (:
