Mass Effect 3: Sept 11 Multiplayer Balance Changes and Operation VIGILANCE Failure

Amazingly, another week of no nerfs!

On the power side, Overload and Cryo Blast both got buffs.  Cryo Blast got a significant buff in duration, cooldown, and recharge speed, as well as the speed penalty bonus to enemies.

On the weapon side, the Crusader Shotgun got its base damage increased 8%, the Graal Spikethrower Shotgun got its base damage increased 10%, and the Kishock Harpoon Sniper Rifle got its base damage increased by a whopping 20% (though that actually means more bleed damage, not damage on impact, which is way less useful).

I don’t really use any of these weapons, so it doesn’t make a huge difference to me.  It would take a lot more than 8% increase in the Crusader damage for me to start using that crap gun :)

Click here for the full list of changes this week.

P.S.  A little birdie told me that a new Multiplayer DLC is coming out in the next couple weeks.  If I were you, I’d start saving credits to spend the day it comes out (read my post on the increased chance of getting new DLC weapons/characters on the day of release).  Just sayin’.

P.P.S.  Apparently we failed Operation Vigilance!  I hope that means the new DLC will be released sooner … for full details, click here.

Any opinions on these changes?  Let me know in the comments!
